APPEALS

If a loved one has been convicted and sentenced in federal court, the clock is running on the ability to file an appeal. You need to retain a federal criminal firm at once or risk losing the opportunity to achieve one of the three goals of an appeal. McNabb Associates is prepared to move as quickly as necessary or beneficial to protect your loved one’s interests.

To appeal a criminal judgment from a federal district court, one must file notice with the district court and then file the appeal itself with the corresponding court of appeals. The federal courts of appeal are divided into eleven “circuits.” Since McNabb Associates only practices in the federal arena, we are prepared to press for our client’s interests in any circuit.

From the first moment you meet with the firm, we are confident you will see why we are different from other federal criminal appeals lawyers. Members of the firm do not represent plaintiffs or defendants in civil lawsuits. Nor does the firm represent clients in state criminal courts or for state criminal appeals. The firm only practices in one area: federal criminal litigation. The firm isn’t burdened with needing to know how to represent clients before appellate courts in Texas, California, or any other state. We put 100% of our efforts into the federal system.
